How to play the book sort

Tap a shelf — the rightmost book lifts.

Set it on the volume right before it from the same series, or on an empty shelf.

A shelf is done when one series stands on it in order: 1, 2, 3, 4.
Then new ideas arrive one at a time: numbers on the spines, runs that move together, wrapped books, glass cabinets, dusty shelves and longer series in deeper cabinets.
The shop wakes up
Coins from the shelves pay for the repair: 20 steps, from sweeping the dust to the counter bell. Pick a look for each; when the shop is done, collect the other 40. Gran leaves notes along the way.

In the evening, the lamps come on
Warm afternoon light by day. From 20:00 to 7:00 the shop switches to its evening by itself: a blue window and lamplight on the shelves.
Calm, cozy and honest
No timers, no lives
Take each shelf at your own pace. Up to three hearts for reaching the move goal, if you care to chase them.
Undo is free
Unlimited, always. Restart a shelf whenever you like.
Solvable without hints
Every shelf can be solved without a hint. If you want one, coins from the shelves buy more, or a short video gives +2.
An emblem on every series
Each series has its own sign on the spine as well as a colour, so the shelves stay readable for colour-blind players.
